Every Seat Filled at November 8th Second Sunday Reading

In the sun-filled room of our new gallery, Art on the Terrace, located at 776 Richmond Terrace, the audience was treated to a variety of lyrical and evocative work ranging from poetry to memoir. This Second Sunday Spoken Word was honored to have among our readers, Rudolph Montanez, a Vietnam Veteran who shared work from the memoir he is writing about his time in Vietnam.

A huge thank you goes to the gifted musician and lyricist Antonio Mancilla who opened for us.

We are growing as an event as the only regularly scheduled Second Sunday Staten Island cultural event devoted exclusively to the Spoken Word.  Admission and refreshments are free.

We welcome all writers, including lyricists, to share their work on the second Sunday of every month.

December’s Second Sunday Spoken Word will take place in the gallery on December 13, 2015from 3-6.
