Second Sunday Spoken Word is the first and only regularly scheduled monthly event devoted to the Spoken Word. We welcome all writers, including lyricists, to share their work on the second Sunday of every month. We believe in speaking out and are dedicated to giving people a voice. We are open to all readers, genres, and formats.

Suggested Donation $2


3-5 pm Spoken Word – original poetry, fiction, and non-fiction

5-6 pm Singers, songwriters, and other acoustic musicians

Second Sunday Spoken Word

Sunday, April 8th at 3:00

On Sunday, April 8th Second Sunday Spoken Word poses the question “The Garden of Earthly Delights or Ship of Fools?’. The art referenced by Hieronymous Bosch will be discussed and writers, poets, and lyricists will say what they will. This month presenters will include Paige Lewis, Bill Wynn, Sophia Figueroa, Kevyn OtaniFairchild, and Brandon Korosh. Music and original lyrics by Dennis Green and Hiroko Otani will follow.

Second Sunday Spoken Word is free and all are welcome.

There is a suggested $2 donation.
