Second Sunday Spoken Word is the first and only regularly scheduled monthly event devoted to the Spoken Word. We welcome all writers, including lyricists, to share their work on the second Sunday of every month. We believe in speaking out and are dedicated to giving people a voice. We are open to all readers, genres, and formats.

Schedule

3-5 pm Spoken Word – original poetry, fiction, and non-fiction

5-6 pm Singers, songwriters, and other acoustic musicians

Performers may sign up in advance by contacting Robin Lampman at: LampmanRobin @ gmail.com.  If there are open slots, you may add your name to the sign up sheet on the day of the event.

                                                            Second Sunday Spoken Word Presents

“Winter Windows – Looking Out and Looking In”

On December 9th at 3 p.m. Second Sunday Spoken Word will present outstanding writers, poets, and lyricists discussing the importance of introspection and compassion in their work. Writers will include Deborah Adewale, Julie Bentsen, Nico Arico, Tyler Larsen, Victor Hesson, Paige Lewis, and Vincent Vok. Kleyko and Patches will entertain us with their highly original lyrics and music following the readings. Wine and cheese will be served.
