Second Sunday Spoken Word is the first and only regularly scheduled monthly event devoted to the Spoken Word. We welcome all writers, including lyricists, to share their work on the second Sunday of every month. We believe in speaking out and are dedicated to giving people a voice. We are open to all readers, genres, and formats.

3-5 pm Spoken Word – original poetry, fiction, and non-fiction

5-6 pm Singers, songwriters, and other acoustic musicians

Second Sunday Spoken Word Presents

Promises To Keep”
On January 13th from 3-6 p.m. Second Sunday Spoken Word will discuss the lines “But I have promises to keep/ And miles to go before I sleep/ And miles to go before I sleep” from Robert Frost’s famous poem. The reading which takes place at Art on the Terrace will include original work by Marilyn Kiss, Lenny Librizzi, Susan Fowler, Deborah Adewale, Maggie Buford, Rebecca Lovesy, Melissa West, and Vincent Vok.

It will be followed by wine, cheese, and the music of Allergic to B’s.
